Bali, the island of god, the unsurpassable and ultimate holiday destination island, is located in Indonesia. Each year thousands of tourists flock in this island to experience the paradise on earth. The most famous places of visit in Bali are as follows:

1. Denpasar

is the capital of Bali. One of the major attractions is a museum that used to be a temple called Pura Jagatnatha, dedicated to Sang Hyang Widi the Supreme God. The Pura’s architecture resembles that of a Balinese palace. There is an art centre known as Sanggraha Kriya Hasta, managed by the government, exhibiting various forms of art and handicrafts.

. Kuta beach:



Blessed with a beautiful beach that is lined throughout its length with coconut trees and the exquisite sight of the sunset on the beach, in particular, is truly a heavenly experience. It is inclined towards the western culture with a lot of nightclubs, dance clubs and pubs.


3. Lovina beach



Some of most beautiful beach in bali, Escape from the hustle and bustle of Kuta to Lovina Beach located in north Bali, about 100 kilometers from southern tourist hotspots. Famous for its early morning dolphin-watching boat trips, Lovina also offers good snorkeling and diving


4. Bangli:



It has Pura Kehen, Bali’s second largest temple. The temple walls are jeweled with age old carvings and architecture, and it has three courtyards interconnected by steps.

5. Besakih:



The largest and the holiest of Bali temples is situated in Besakih on the slopes of a mountain called Gunung Agung also commonly known as Mount Holy. This temple is over thousand years old and is termed as the Mother Temple of Bali. This temple is surrounded by eight separate places of worship belonging to different regencies and caste.

6. Menjangan Island:



It is an island with a breath taking scenery and is situated on Terima Bay. The water surrounding it is known for its abundant coral reefs and rich tropical fish population. and large population of deer living there (the mean of menjangan is deer)


7. Ubud:



It
is the art centre of Bali. Ubud’s museum called the Puri Lukisan has a collection of Balinese painting dating from the turn of the century. Another museum that goes by the name The Neka also boasts of a magnificent collection of traditional Balinese painting by local artists as well by visiting foreign artists.

8. Monkey Forest :


This forest comprises entirely of towering pala trees. The monkeys living here, are considered sacred, in an association from the Ramayana epic, where prince Rama allied himself with the monkey hero Hanoman to attack the area of Alengka. When visiting this forest, your valuable things (jewelry, cameras, etc.) should be left behind or stored in your bag as the monkeys here are attracted to the glossy object. Located in the heart of the primary forest in Southern Bali called Sangeh.



9. Goa Gajah:



It is a cave temple originally built as a monastery in the 11th century. The entrance of the temple features two statues with a demon head a statue of Ganesha sits within the cave. There is also an ancient bathing place in the temple that has six statues of nymphs carrying water pots.


10. Taman Burung Bali Bird Park :

Gianyar is home to more than a thousand of birds from throughout Indonesia and all over the world. Set in a spectacular gardens filled with lush tropical plants and water features. The park is also has a good restaurant for guests to interact with nature by having breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea with birds. Located in Batubulan.


11. Kintamani:


The villages of Kintamani and Penelokan give a view of Bali’s second largest active volcano called Mount Batur. It also has a beautiful scenic lake crater.

12. Tampak Siring:



Situated here is a temple called Pura Tirta Empul built encompassing a sacred spring. The temple has two bathing places that have been used by the Balinese for over 1000 years for good health and properity. The spring water is known to have curative properties.
